People who add value to people's lives, instead of focusing on purely transactional "relationships."
So if you want a content writer who buys into your core values and greater purpose...
a copywriter who nails your brand voice so well that it's kinda creepy...
a collaborator who understands your multi-passionate mind and brand and can keep up with you because she is one, too...
I may be the creative content director for you.
Your audience is smart and selective, and they're not going to waste their time consuming and engaging with content that looks and sounds like everyone else, or that sells! sells! sells! constantly.
You need to deliver a steady flow of compelling content that speaks directly to them on a personal level... oh, and it helps if it entertains them, too. (No pressure...)
Running a business is a lot of damn work. Hiring a writer to manage your web copy and marketing content takes a lot off your plate so you can spend more time working with your clients or taking a much-needed break.
You could hop on Google or Upwork and find a writer who can fire off a few à la carte newsletters, blog posts, and some webpage copy. There are a lot out there... take your pick.
Someone who fully buys into your core values, vision, and message...
who takes the time to understand you, your brand, your services, and your clients...
who is deeply invested in your success and well-being...
who works well with solo entrepreneurs, as well as creative teams...
A big-vision creative thinker who will brainstorm with you about all the possibilities, and help you narrow down and prioritize the best options.
A driven self-starter who keeps your content and copy rolling on schedule when you need to take a sick day or a vacay.
A friend and fellow business owner who will hold space when you need to vent because being a human and a business owner is freaking hard some days.
Need someone like me in your corner?
A bit more about me, for those who are interested.
at university, and a myriad of other subjects (psychology, history, photography, design) informally.
And I love to work with clients who are also multi-passionate. There's an art and science to merging your multiple interests, formal education, lived experience, and wisdom into a career that you design yourself.
It can feel difficult to develop a succinct message that conveys all you do and all you know, but it can be done.
And I'd love to help.
Yes, it's a real thing.
I'm a people person. The energy of being around other people gives me life and serves as a huge source of creative inspiration.
And while I occasionally love being in the middle of the action and having all eyes and ears on me, my strongest skills are observation and active listening.
It's a big part of why I'm good at what I do.
So while I love my family dearly, you'll rarely hear me talk or write about my role as a wife or mother.
I want to teach my daughters to do the same.
